Family pictures this year came at the end of November. We had a horrible rain storm the weekend before so the park we went too was flooded. It looks like we are standing in front of a lake, but really it is just rain water. Also, I was particularly nice and told John he couldn't wear his ugly boot in the pictures (don't worry, I first checked with his doctor first). So he was in a lot of pain. Hey, all we needed was one good picture of us looking like we have our act together for a Christmas Card! :-)
