The first thing we did when we arrived was to head to Baskin Robbins to celebrate Jack's 6 month birthday. He hates ices cream, kind of funny.
We always make our way to the Ocean shores Beach. My boys think it is so fun to drive on the sand It was cold, but we always have fun.
Jack had his first taste of rice cereal...
He was not a fan. Hahaha!
Jack fell in love with Jellycats. They are the softest stuffed animals ever. Jack doesn't love binkies, but we can't sleep without an animal to cuddle with.
The cousins built their own "Sulleys" to bring to Monsters University,.
I took this at midnight. Too Funny!
Siena and Ryan playing in the backyard.
Goofing off in Seattle
Jacob was kicked out of one of the strollers this year, so he walked all over Seattle. We was rewarded with a sprite at Nordstrom's Cafe.
Pikes Market. This Picture is funny to me because if you notice the time it is 2:37 pm. Somehow we made the 3pm ferry ride back home.
Jacob planking.
We went to the zoo a lot.
This was my favorite day in Washington. We were loaded up in the car on our way to Bellevue mall. This is a mall that all the girls get "dolled up" for. Anyway as we were diving down our street we noticed a helicopter over us. we thought that was weird As we pulled in to our local gas station to get our Diet Coke fix I asked the worker what was going on. She told me there was a baby whale in the water. I immediately ran to the car to unload my boys so they could see this whale. This was a big deal because we are about 221 miles from open water. Also the tide was on its way in so the whale was swimming in about 10 feet of water. Every time the whale would swim to far in one direction he would get stuck and have to wiggle himself back into deeper water. Kind of sad, but very cool to see up so close it was about one year old and 25 feet long. Also, it was about 1/2 mile from my parents beach. We see seals and otters all the time, but never image a whale would make its way over here.
We were interviewed for the evening news I made the news! Although they used my moms instead of mine. :-) Also you could hear Jacob's voice in the background. Very cool!
This little giraffe has becomes Jack's favorite toy. He cannot sleep with out it.
We had a Super Hero day!
Jack trying green beans for the first time. He hated rice cereal! He didn't mind oatmeal, but he loved green beans.
One day when we were in Seattle we passes this food truck. Jacob was SO excited! He loves grilled cheese and this place did not disappoint.
Monsters University was a success!
Waiting for the ferry to take us to Seattle
On our way to the Duck Tour
Fun on land and water! :-)
4th of July
Pirate Day!
The Thursday after the 4th of July, we were in my parents backyard taking turns on my dad's boat which was pulling a fun inner tube. Well I finished taking a spin on the boat with Ryan. As I was getting out of the water I heard John yell to me that Dylan needs to go to the ER. I know if John is mentioning the ER that this is serious. He usually likes to wait on hospital trips. Anyway we were off the emergency room. Dylan was so brave, but you would tell he was in a lot of pain. Poor boy!
We took a day trip to Edmond
The following Monday we took Dylan to a pediatric orthopedic. He told us Dylan broke his elbow. We later found out this was a false alarm, he actually just bruised it really bad. Both were treated the same way.
We did some back to school shopping.
7 months!
On our way to get a Viking donut in Paulsbo.
Kettle Corn at the Gig Harbor farmers market.
Jacob was brave and bought another bag my himself .
We discovered the Northwest Wildlife Park this year. We had a blast! We saw bears up close and then took a tram through a park and saw deer and bison.
Seeing the movie Turbo.
Geese alert!
Jack's new friend, (if you are counting he is up to 3).
Another day, another trip to Seattle.
We were reading an article about sights to see in Seattle. They mentioned the gum wall. We never heard of this but have walked over hit dozens of time. So on this trip we were going to find it and add gum to it Kind of gross!
Best year so far!
Good bye Washington. See you next year!!
